************************************************

To put this piece in better context I searched the Psalms and Proverbs in the Bible. A few stood out to me, but it turned out that the best representation I came across was completely by accident and so far distant from the Bible - what I've read so far anyway - both in place and thought that it had to be the singular description used for this page.

It was late night at a bar when the remaining few guests gathered for a previous dinner were enjoying the intimate after party conversation and drinks. Amongst the shared anecdotes was a little gem of experience that life had to offer, shove, and hit like an iceball where there was no snowball about a small town that had made the news because of a significant event it was unwittingly hosting at the time. At one point a news crew started interviewing the inhabitants getting their take on the event and as circumstance will dictate in this instance one of the interviewees was an old man of the town. Someone born, raised, and living out the rest of his days in that same town.

The interview with this man quickly transitioned into his explanation of how little opportunity there was in the town at that time. Factories had closed down and work was getting harder to find in the area. All of this apparently matter-of-fact in statement and he just kept on talking. The interviewer growing more and more frustrated with the man's response about the harsh conditions of living finally just asked why didn't he just move.

His response went something like this: "'cause it's my home."
